The exciting live press conference of Xiaomi Mi3 has just ended, and well the press conference was about the release information and showcasing the product. As soon as it got over, Xioami Mi3 has been launched at Flipkart.
Did I say launched? Wait, just don't leave this site and runaway to Flipkart because well there is a catch. The actual sale of these phones only start from July 22, and as you all know limited stocks were brought in from China. Thus to curtail the rush Flipkart is now offering a pre-registration system to book your product.
Xiaomi Mi3 is the first phone launched in India from the Chinese company Xiaomi. This Android phone will be available exclusively on the online shopping website Flipkart only. Mi3 announced for a price of INR 14,999 while on the launch day you can get the phone for a price of INR 13,999.
Xiaomi announces another two devices in India Xiaomi Redmi 1S prices INR 6,999 and Redmi Note at Rs.9999.
The pre-order starts on 21st July 2014 midnight, but you can register from today on Flipkart. Those who register will be the first to consider on the pre-order event. So if you are planning to buy the Xiaomi Mi3 it is the time to register for it.
What is this pre-registration? First of all you need to head here. Then submit your email ID and get yourself registered. Only those who register can purchase the Xiaomi Handset. The handset has been priced at 13,999Rs. It seems it is 1000 Rs cheaper than what we were expecting to be a launch price. As of now registrations are open and you can register between the 15th to 21st July. Please note again that only these registered customers will be allowed to purchase the handset on the launch day ie 22nd of July. Please note 13,999Rs is a special sale price for those users who register and will be available only on 22nd ie the sale day. After that we hope for it will be repriced to 14,999 the original launch price. So well its a sweet deal.

Our advice is to buy this phone if your comfortable with Chinese products. Take into consideration that currently no CynogenMod support exists but 4.4 Kitkat MIUI ROM is under development and the betas for it have been released. Also take note that this phone does not sell in the US. If you want to go with a company which has a worldwide presence then MotoG is your best bet, else I am all in for this product. The specifications of this product puts it on top with the Galaxy s5, but at a fraction of the cost. Also if you are really keen on purchasing the Mi3, order it as soon as it launches as initial stocks may get emptied in just seconds. Also make sure your address is saved in Flipkart so you don't waste valuable time typing in your address. Select COD for a faster checkout. It is yet to be seen if Flipkart will bundle any student offers along with this phone. Also the Xiaomi accessories are to be launching soon. This phone is great buy for this price. The company claims 500 hrs standby time / 21 hours internet usage on 3G / 25 hours talking time.
