You closed your IE8 with some open tabs accidently, and if you need that back again (In Opera you can enable Startup dialog from the setting and can choose how to start it , From last session or with out any pages etc). You can do this

Open the IE8

Go to Tools => Reopen Last Browsing Session

That's all, this will open all the opened tabs from the last session
