I.  EICAR Standard Anti-Virus Test File (Virus test)

1. Open Notepad

2. Copy the below line and paste it to the notepad

X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

3. Save it as Virus.exe

4. Your Antivirus will delete this file immediately after you created it.

II. Generic Test for Unsolicited Bulk Email (Spam Test)

1. Open Notepad

2. Copy the below line and paste it to the notepad

XJS*C4JDBQADN1.NSBN3*2IDNEN*GTUBE-STANDARD-ANTI-UBE-TEST-EMAIL*C.34X

3. Save as Spam.exe

4. Your Anti-Spammer will detect and delete immediately

III.Trojan Simulator

1. Go to this page

2. Download TrojanSimulator.zip

3. Extract it and run TrojanSimulator.exe

4. Click Install

5. Your security software should not allow to install it

6. Click Uninstall after the test.
