You can use the twitter account timer to set reminders. To set a timer you can send message in a format which timer suggested. It will remind you by sending a direct message to you.

timer

1. Go to the direct message page after login in to twitter

2. Compose a message in the following format

d timer MINUTES Subject

Minute will be the minutes after you will get the message, and Subject is the reminder subject. For example you can use

d timer 60 Pay parking

this will send a direct message back to you after 60 minutes.

The minimum amount of time is 5 minutes and it may vary some minutes, says timer :)
