How to increase speed of Internet Explorer

You can increase the speed of browser by changing the maximum connections to a server and maximum connections. The values may vary according to your machine, so just try and find out what is perfect for you.

1. Start => Run

2. Type regedit Press OK

3. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

4. Right click on right pane =>New > DWORD value

5. Change the name to MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server

6. Double click to open

7. Choose Decimal and select a value 64 (can try with different values) press OK

8. Do the same and create MaxConnectionsPerServer with value 32 (can try with different values)

9. Exit the registry editor

10. Reboot the machine.


Try to find optimal values. Slow speed net users are advised to use small numbers.
