You may be seeing too many New orkut invitation giveaways or lucky draws etc. The simplest way to get an invitation is to join a community named Get the new orkut! in Orkut.

Everyone who joins the community will get an invite :)

So just join that community and wait to get one invite, Once u got an invite you can see the new orkut logo, and just clicking on it will take you to the new orkut design.
