If you would like to change your default browser, with out using the browser setup [which may not work some times, like me :) ], it is simple
//Update for Windows 10//
1. Open control panel => Programs => Default Programs
2. Select Set your default programs
3. Select the application you need to make as your default browser (it may take some time to load)
4. On the right side select "Set this program as default"
OR
1. Open Settings => System
2. Select Default apps
3. Select Web browser
4. Select the application you need to set as default web browser
//Update end//
1. Go to control panel =>Add or remove programs
2. Set Program access and defaults (Bottom left)
3.Choose Custom and click on the Down arrows
4. Choose your desired browser, you can also choose the default mail client also
