Google introduces a new feature , that is to write mail in Indian languages. It includes Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. You need to enable this option from the settings and choose the language. You can type in English and which will converted to the language you have chosen (Not translation).

when composing choose the language from the dropdown, Click on that to enable on the compossing area, when ever you press Space bar the text will be converted to the langauge you have chosen.
