Popular software freebie website GiveawayOfTheDay, are giving away free copies of the excellent Screenshot app, Ashampoo Snap 7, for everyone.
Terming it a screenshot app, is an understatement.
It is actually a media suite with a variety of photo/video capture and editing options. You can read a review of it right here.
Ashampoo Snap 7 normally costs $19.99, but you can get it for free for a limited time.
1. Head to this promotional page.
2. Click on the link which says “Download Ashampoo Snap 7”
3. Extract the downloaded zip archive to any folder, and run setup.exe. It is a regular installer, and not one of GiveawayOfTheDay’s time limited EXEs. Run the installer.
Note: Uncheck the optional installation for a “Driver Updater” software during the installation of Snap 7.
4. You should get a window with a button which says “Get Fee Activation Key”. Click on it.
5. Enter a valid email address to receive your license code.
6. Copy and paste the license code which you received in your inbox, in to the registration field in the app. Click on “Activate Now”
That’s it, you are done. It may be possible for this version to get updates, we are not sure though.
