Normally when we need to use some fonts which are not system fonts, we will make them images to display correctly. Here is an alternative for that option. Using this you need not to create images, which will reduce the total page size to be downloaded.

It contain two sections a JavaScript Library and a Perl module which will convert truetype fonts to typeface ones. The main thing is that this is Open source and absolutely free.
