Day One for iOS is free for a limited time on the iTunes Store

The popular journaling app, Day One (for iOS), has gone free for a limited time.

The app has a beautiful interface, and lets you add Photos to your entries. It also has various useful features like, Privacy passcode lock, Full screen mode, Multi-Markdown text formatting (which converts text to html) and more.

Each entry automatically tracks the Photo EXIF data, Temperature and weather, Locations, Time and date, Music playing. Entries are automatically backed up, and can be set up to sync with your Dropbox or iCloud account. You can also export your entries in PDF format, or print them. The app also allows you to share your entries via email and on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare).

You can organize your entries by adding tags and hashtags, star favorite entries. The app lets you view your journal in a Calendar or Timeline mode. You can also search your journal for entries by keywords.

The app has won several awards such as the: 2014 Mac Apple Design, 2012 Mac App of the Year, #1 Best Apps of Mac App Store and was featured as the App Store App of the Week in January 2012.

Day One for iOS normally costs $4.99, but you can get it for free from the Apple iTunes Store for free, for a limited time.

The app is a 25 MB download, and is compatible with iPhones, iPads, iPod Touch devices running on iOS 7.0 or later.
